Registration Costs
Registration must be paid in full to guarantee your spot. Registration pricing includes two parts: the Event Fee and the Lodging Fee. Both fees will be collected by us retreat presenters—do not go to the Breitenbush website for your lodging.
The Event Fee
The Event Fee covers all of our work for the retreat production: design & organize the retreat program, build the website & promotional materials, handle 100+ registrations one-by-one, produce the whole event on-site, and most importantly provide financial compensation for all of the DJs and teachers who are bringing their professional expertise to create the experience.
The Event Fee is a sliding scale based on the honors system for your personal financial situation--your generosity helps support Breitenbush and other community members.

The Lodging Fee includes your lodging choice, three square meals per day, plus use of all of the Breitenbush amenities. We pay Breitenbush your entire lodging fee, which is the same as if you were going there on personal retreat. For lodging choices and prices, click to see our lodging page.

The Registration Process
- Fill out the registration request form on Google. We will send you that link if you are on the wait-list and a spot opens up for you.
- We will email you an initial confirmation, which will hold your space in the registration queue. You (and any co-occupants) will need to reply to the email with some additional info and an acknowledgement that you accept all of the retreat policies.
- Then we will contact you to confirm lodging availability, review your registration details, and arrange payment.
- You will make full payment via personal check, Zelle, or PayPal. Your reservation is not guaranteed until full payment is received.
Cancellation Policy:
- You may transfer your Registration to a friend at any point until 10am August 4th. Transfers require a $25 service charge, must be requested by email, and must be processed by us. No transfers may be initiated after 10am August 4th. (Note: Transfers must agree to all of the retreat policies and get the required covid PCR test in time, no exceptions.)
- If you don't want to manage a transfer, you may cancel your Registration for a full refund of your Event and Lodging Fees, minus a service charge of $50 through June 30th or $100 from July 1st to July 21st. No cancellation refunds after July 21st (except if you have a positive PCR test at any point through August 5th, in which case you may cancel for a full refund minus a $100 service charge). All cancellations must be requested by email.
FAQ: Why does this retreat seem expensive?
At first glance, it may seem pricey. $100 per night for camping or vehicle camping? But consider it includes three very square meals each day—prepared professionally with the freshest ingredients—which are easily worth $50/day if you were restauranting on vacation. That means it's actually about $50/night for camping, which is a very fair deal for all of the amenities included at Breitenbush: all of the pools, the sauna, the lodge, the gardens, and all of the grounds. They have an extensive staff to support for operations and maintenance, as well as incrementally recovering from the fire that burned down more than half of their buildings in 2020.
